Jatropha the much hyped Bio- Fuel plant is lost all its faith of the farmers. Because due to some wrong Govt. Policy and the Profit making companies, their only concern is to sell Planting Materials and earning money. But at what cost? at the cost of poor farmers, by showing large projections that 5 to 10 kg seed production can be obtained. But what is the reality? the truth is that no body can show a farmers field where average 1 kg of seeds production obtained.
Therefore my humble request to the Govt. of India to immiedeately stop funding Jatropha plantation and try to search for other better options of Bio-fuel.
