Is License required for Quail farming?

Hi,

I'm Srikanth from Nellore, Andhra pradesh.
I'm planning to start Quail farming in my town. Here i want to sell Quail meat, egg and Chicks.
For this do we need any license?

Please help me in finding this.

License is required , please appraoch once the veterinary department to get clarification. Generally farmers are not obtaining any licence for quails like broilers, ducks , piggery , country chicken etc . If your farm is located long distance from the residential area you can proceed for the proposed activity.

There is good demand for quails in the hotels and restaurents

None of the quail farmers obtain any permission . Quails can be successfully maintained and can be multiplied .
