Beema bamboo can grow in all types of soil, but preferably in light, loamy, red or sandy loam soil. Beema Bamboo needs 2 feet soil depth and the ideal pH is between 5 to 6.5, however it can be made to grow in up to 8pH.
The water requirement is similar to sugarcane which is 2000mm/annum. The water requirement for bamboo would be 10 to 20L per plant per day.
