Is Dairy Farming Taxable

Hello Mr. Swamy,
Please go thru the below link. It says Income from dairy farming is not considered as agriculture income. Hence it may be taxable. Could you pls. thro some light on the same?

Hi

Dairy farming is not taxable, however dairy product processing and marketing is taxable

profits earned on milk production at the farm level is not taxable

dairy based processing operations are taxable
 

Hello All,
I was also under assumption that income from dairy farming is considered as agricultural income and hence it is non taxable. But it is not so. Go to google and type "Income from dairy farming taxable" you get n number of sites saying Dairy farming is not considered as agriculture and hence it is treated as Taxable.

If anybody can consult a Charted Accountant and let us know it would be great. If it is non taxable, please let us know the section and clause.
