MAPLE EM.1 PASHUAMRUT & ANIMAL BOKASHI
EM Technology was developed at the University of Ryukyus, Okinawa, Japan in the early 1980’s by distinguished professor of Horticulture, Professor Dr. Teruo Higa. Maple EM.1 Pashuamrut is a liquid concentrate containing beneficial microorganisms. They are produced by a scientific procedure using many strains of microorganisms which are collected from the natural environment. Today it is being used in 140 countries around the world for 30 years.
The main constituent microorganisms are Lactic Acid Bacteria (lactobacillus sp.), photosynthetic bacteria (Rhodomonas sp.) and yeast (Saccharomyces sp.). Maple EM.1 Pashuamrut includes both aerobic and anaerobic species of microbes coexist in an acidic pH of 3.4. The microbes are not imported, exotic or genetically engineered.

Application in Animal Husbandry:
EM.1 PASHUAMRUT
In drinking water add 1 litre of EM Stock solution in 1000 litres of water.
For sanitation spray Activated EM (AEM) 1 litre: 100 litres of water in the animal sheds
EM is used effectively in washing and bathing animals. Dosage: 1 litre EM in 100 litres of water.
Sprays in sheds to be done weekly. If done using machine to be done in the ratio of 1: 1000 litre.
Before sanitizing the sheds, firstly clean it using normal water and then apply EM by spraying.
Spraying during rainy days could be risky so sprinkle EM Bokashi in the sheds.

Animal Bokashi is used both as feed additive and sprinkled in the animal sheds.
