Info reqd on pomegranate

I am interested in pomegranate cultivation in around 25 acres in my land near Tenkasi [Tirunelveli District], in Southern Tamil Nadu. This is a dry locality with red soil, and we intend to use drip irrigation to irrigate the pomegranate.

I have a few queries on pomegranate cultivation, and I shall appreciate if experts in this forum could respond to my queries that are listed below

1. What are the various commercial pomegranate breeds; what are their characteristics; which breeds are fast and high yielding
2. What are the yields per acre or hectare for the various commercial breeds
3. What is the water requirement for pomegranate if irrigated through drip irrigation
4. Is high density and ultra-high density spacing practiced in pomegranate, and if so, what is the spacing, and the yield

I am interested in

1. Sourcing high yielding / fast growing pomegranate breed saplings
2. Appointing a consultant to guide me on pomegranate cultivation
