increase fat% & snf% in milk

Hello,
what can i do for increasing fat% & snf% in milk, i have 1 cow in my farm, that cow gives 10 liters per day.now that milk have FAT 2.5% and SNF 7.6%.

How come you are getting so less fat?
Even HF cows which give 25-30 lts per day have fat more than 3.5%
At that SNF, no one will purchase your milk.

What are you feeding your cow?

i am feeding green fodder like co4 and co fs 29 (multi cut) in morning, and also by night dry fodder.

Can anybody let me know what is good for cows....??? Maize or CO3/4?? As i have seen an improvement in production after i fed maize stems with baby corns on it.

Hi friend,

I understand from your comments that you are not feeding concentrate mixture.
Actually the concentrate mixture is the one provides FAT. Because this contains Groundnut cake, cotton seed cake, Gingelly oil cake, coconut cake, etc., which contains FAT by nature. If you feed this, the FAT of milk would increase.
