i need the information about rice cultivation

hi,

i am dinakaran i am basically from tamilnadu kanchipuram and my fathers are in to farming but i was studied civil eng and came in to construction and now i am getting interest in to farming and natural type of cultivation for this i need some information.

how many times in a year we can able to produce rice and in between timing we can able to produce some other crops to give short term income.

pls advise

What type of land do you have? Wet or dry? What is the water source?

Paddy needs lot of water and constant attention. If you want to pursue your profession, do not think of paddy. Go for tree plantation which does not demand your constant attention.

Paddy can be grown three times in a year; if you have enough water. You do not have any time left after three crops of paddy in a year.

u can also go for aero rice which needs less water and gros with the help of air.
