Weed control measures: Regular intercultivation should be done to remove weeds in the field. As some weeds are also alternate host and serve as refuges for the pests to lay eggs, remove of weeds at regular intervals is very essential practise that each farmer should follow without compromise. Weeds also compete with the crop plant and reduce the soil nutrients which otherwise would have been available to the crop, affecting the yield.
