Hydroponics - Information Required

Hi ... I am planning to start a hydroponics project in Bangalore. As an initial requirement to start the project, I am required to provide some historical data (to the concerned authorities) about the area where I need to start this project. The data I am in need of is basically related to various weather parameters such as daytime/nighttime temperature, humidity, wind direction, wind speed, etc., for the particular geographic location where I intend to start the hydroponics project. I have been going through a lot of websites in order to obtain this data, but haven't been able to achieve anything specific so far. As I believe there are a lot of experts in this forum who would have definitely come across the requirement as I have, I kindly request you to guide me as to how to obtain the information I require.

Advise for Hydroponics data you need

Hello Sir,

For all weather data you need, you have to go- METEOROLOGICAL DEPARTMENT or COLLECTOR OFFICE or any agricultural institute or Agricultural University or irrigation department of that area.Also see this website www.imd.gov.in

They have all records of last 100 years they can give you exact data you need. They collect all this data on daily.
Also if you need any help in hydroponics you can ask I have worked in Hydroponics.

I have gone through the website IMD - Weather on Web, but they have a data ranging from 1901 to 2000, and I was actually looking for a more recent data (may be 2011 or 2012) as weather conditions in and around Bangalore have drastically changed over the last decade or so. Anyway, I shall try and get in touch with few other institutes what you have mentioned in your post and would be more than happy to contact you for any future help....
