Urid Dhal (Black Gram
We are growers of Urid dhal also know as Black Gram in Sri lanka
The agricultural practices is not so difficult, depending on condition of soil and climate you can obtain a high yield of over 600 to 700 kg per acre.
However the only drawback is, heavy rain weeks before harvesting
which will destroy the entire crop of urid and (green mong gram as well)
It is a profitable venture if you can process and market the grain.
