Not all farmers pass out of the Agricultural University, nor are they scientists trained in modern farming methods. Until recently, agriculture was more a family affair, with everyone in the family contributing by putting in their efforts at tilling the soil, sowing the seeds, irrigating the crops, weeding, and ultimately harvesting. Agricultural activities were limited to the traditional methods of farming, and most farmers planted crops that were commonly grown in their region. Golden Fruits
