High yielding lemongrass

Dear Sir,
Thank you for your interest in Lemongrass cultivation. The particular strain named as BLI-ARUN has developed at Branch Laboratory Itanagar(CSIR), Arunachal Pradesh through artificial hybridization. The essential oil content of the strain has 0.85-1.005 and citral content 85-88%(due to seasonal variation). The strain yield more herb about 60-75 ton/ha/year. It is a perrinial crop with 7-10 years of its life span. For have its high yield soil condition required sandy-loam.Planting time April-October in NE region. First harvest may take after four month of planting and successive harvests after 21/2 months to 3 months. Minimum four harvests may have each year and continued up to 8-10 years. No recurring expenditure required for re-plantation.Oil has good demand not only in domestic but also in the internation market. We are selling its agrotechnology with 2000 nos. slip at the cost of Rs.33000/- (approx.). The details are to be enclosed along with the agrotechnology. We have already started its commercial cultivation in Arunachal Pradesh. The flavour & Fragnance, Kaunnauj,India and CAP Uttarkhand also purchased its agrotechnology and started cultivation.
