The animal producing > 20 kg milk can easily consume and tolerate 3 kg
grain per day. The high feeding of grains should be accompanied by buffer feeding.
The feeding of buffer (NaHCO3 + MgO in 3:1 ratio) helps in maintaining the
proper rumen pH and prevents the depression in DMI and milk fat, which are
invariably accompanied by high grain feeding. The dose of buffer should be 1-1.5%
in the concentrate mixture.

Your question is not simple . You have to understand principles of feeding . Attend training in a good institution . For furthur information contact please at Bangalore bet: 7 to 9 Pm.
