Any type of soilis ok for dairy but water is important, because you need water for animal cleaning, animal drinking and also for cultivating green fodder. atleast try to have 1 acr for 5 cows, breed it depends where you located, first plan where you are going to market it. Only direct market to the end users is beneficiable. giving the milk in tha hands of society or existing dairy unit would not give profit, you can just run a dairy.
