i want to grow sandalwood in jharkhand state. can anyone help me in the same do i have to govt permission before its plantation? what type of soil ir best? how many plants can be put in 01 acre land? please help
In some states government permisison is required for sandalwood cultivation. In one acre land around 435 plants can be grown with a spacing of 10 feet. Red loamy soil ideal for cultivation.

For the sandal cultivation there is no need of Government permission.But you have to enter the cultivation details into the revenue dept. records through village administrative officer of Revenue departments that will help during cutting,You can get subsidy of 75% from Government for the cultivation limited to some condition.Further details please call or send mail.
