“Guargum” is a product which is made from Guar seeds. Guargum is being used in different industries in India and abroad, but now it is in Heavy demand due to its utility in Crude Oil Industry, these industries have saved 10 USD per barrel by using Gurgum. India is enjoying the top position in production and export of this product in the world market, 80 % of global demand is met by India. Guargum is the top most agri commodity which is exported last year.
Guar is basically Simple, Short & Easy rain fed (depends upon rains) crop and cultivated in Rajasthan & Haryana state, but it can be grown successfully in other states (Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu) also.
We have taken Successful trials of this crop in Vidharbha region of Maharashtra state in rain fed and irrigated conditions in summer. Also have conducted trials in Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu states in rain fed and irrigated conditions, the results were economically feasible.

Pacific Agro is having its presence in more than 7 states and working along with NABARD, ATMA (agri Dept.) and also interacting with Planning Commission, Govt. of India.

hello

wherever we find GUAR, this guy will be there...He never gives advice regarding cultivation, never creates awareness, never participates in discussions and never clarifies the doubts of the people but simply pastes this advertisement whenever he finds GUAR thread..His intention is to sell his seed (he sells for 600rs/kg so that he can earn 60000rs/quintal. Remember the actual seed costs revolves around 10000rs/quintal)..Great business go ahead..Cashing upon the hype created on the crop..

These guys are making a joke of farmers. I would like tell you that the rate of guar was went up just because of circular trading, means trading the same quantity many time. As guar is listed on commodity exchange,it worked as fuel in fire..... These trader has made huge stock at higher rate. now they don't want it to come down. There is no any fresh demand of guar gum from the oil company...Even the last time the guar company has made huge stock at low rate that is sufficient for two years. In this year the production is also two three time than last years.

Means up to next 3-4 years there will be no big demand of fresh guar.

Some people are playing with the poorty of farmers. Some companies have started to produce the alternate of guar.

These people want to make foolish to USA by creating the artificial shortage. That is USA they have alternate to go to MARS. They are studying each and every activity...

Now these type of people are doing cut copy past and want to earn money by selling seed at 600/kg.

The ASSOCHEM is strongly opposing the listing of guar on commodity exchange. because this is a small commodity which is grown only in western Rajasthan and Haryana. A person can easily manipulate the trading by investing the small money.

Mr, Where were hiding all these days with out answering questions thar were shot at you.

Why do n't you dare to reveal your contact / address so that people can contact the GUAR trading GURU get some gnan.

When are you starting to supply the certified seed @150/KG?

We remember very well who you are? where are you from?

We also know that you are selling loose seed of unknown variety around in Guntur district.

Yes , we are champion of guar farming knowledge. I can challenge you and only you anything about guar farming .

Are you ready for open discussion on telephone or face to face ?

If no body is buying guar in Jodpur, jaipur mandis , where is the seed going in spot mandis. Why should farmer worry about futures trading in guar when the spot market is still looking good for farmers. Futures trading is traders ; not for farmers.

smart farmers objective is high yield which is in his control; not the price which is NOT in his control.

Oil majors will go for alternative only when Guar trades above Rs 45000-50,000/qt.
can you tell us with all your commodity knowlege, why Halliburton bought guar gum last year @125000/qt. Are they fools (like you, who is blind to the high profitable guar crop) to miss the guar gum at low price.

Even US guy do n't buy; no problem; There is enough demand in domestic markets and other international market like UK, CANADA, Germany

Of the 18 lack tons estimated gaur production, 7 lack tons were exported since April-12. How much was exported last year?

Can you please share the figures from your yoga gnan of commodity?

Massive penalty awaits guar traders

FMC to penalise clients and brokers for violating clubbing guidelines and manipulating prices, relisting delayed.

In order to avoid the repeat of guar-like saga in other agri-commodities, the Forward Markets Commission (FMC) is planning to impose a heavy penalty on a number of traders for violating clubbing guidelines and artificially manipulating prices.

The commodity derivatives market regulator has called for bank account statement of leading guar traders since its price started overshooting. Currently, the Commission is analysing the statements provided by traders.

“We have discovered a violation of clubbing guidelines, prima facie, in our initial investigation. On aggregating traders’ position, we found that they booked guar in various names beyond the permissible limit. Hence, we are just working on the quantum of penalty to be imposed on them which may run into crores,” said a senior FMC official.
An FMC investigation in May 2012 revealed 4,490 entities were involved in guar price manipulation, who benefited by around Rs 1,291 crore.

Though, the Ministry of Consumer Affairs has not taken any concrete measures yet on the violators of FMC guidelines, the Commission continued its departmental investigations.

Earlier in March last year, a report from the industry body Assocham said that guar gum and guar seed prices jumped almost 70% between January – March 2012, despite several measures such as high margins, lower position limits, suspension of traders, etc taken by the regulator.

The prices of these commodities have risen ten-fold in the past year on low stocks. The normal price of guar bean in the season is Rs 10 a kg, while guar seed is traded at around Rs 150 a kg and guar gum at Rs 500 a kg.

The FMC had suspended futures trading in both guar seed and gum until September 2012 earlier, which was then extended indefinitely. The FMC in its circular warned commodity exchanges not to launch new contracts without its permission.

Meanwhile, Assocham cautioned the government for re-listing guar gum and guar seeds in the future market till the Forward Contract Regulation Amendment (FCRA) Bill to accord adequate powers to FMC with a view to regulate the market and penalise any insider trading, cartelisation and price manipulations.

It said that in year 2010-11, there was bumper crop of 15.45 lakh tonne and the price during the year ranged within Rs 2,000 - Rs 3,800 a quintal. During the year 2011-12, guar crop size was estimated at 12 lakh tonne and the guar price gone up from Rs 4,000 in October 2011 to Rs 29,000 a quintal in March 2012, an increase of 625%.

There is said to be export led increase in demand. However, such an abnormal price rise is not easily attributed to increase in export demand only. There is a possibility of price manipulation and insider trading as prices rose despite lack of corresponding trading volumes and negligible open interest in the market.

The future market price rise (returns) in 2011-12 is all most 10 times higher than last year and is the steepest rise in any agri commodity in the history of Indian future exchanges.

The future price change volatility (return volatility) in 2011-12 has gone up by almost 80% compared to 2010-11 figures. Guar future prices ranged between Rs 2,743 and Rs 29,900 a quintal. During 2011-12, the maximum price was 889 per cent higher than the maximum price 2010-11.

Now, despite 40-member Advisory Committee headed by the FMC chairman Ramesh Abhishek recommending the re-introduction guar contract on exchange platforms, the regulator seems in no hurry. The Commission is waiting to set up a sub-Committee which can analyse the need of its re-launch and recommend to the Advisory Committee for its assessment.

Consequently, traders’ may miss guar from exchange platform this season.

Every body should welcome the stringent action by FMC on GUAR trade violations.

FMC could have been proactive rather than reactive.

RGC-1066 is another Strong Single stem variety that most suitable for machine harvesting.

But the Yield potential of RGC -1066 is a bit low when compared with RGC-936 .

Please refer December-12 Annadata book for photos of RGC-1066. In this Annadata ,the photo with strong single stem bearing pods directly on the stem is RGC-1066
