Growing chikoo or sapota fruit in Mysore

Please provide details of cultivation on a small plot of land, the chikoo (sapota fruit) from seeds obtained from a ripe sweet fruit.

hello Sir
If u sow those seeds ull not get true to type means fruits will not be the same which u have ate coz when we sow seeds they must have gone crossing over during pollination in meiosis phase which must have changed their genetical makeup.
Its better u tell me the variety of sapota and u should go for graft (Inarched saplings or air layered saplings).
