Hi
- Yes it is possible
- Go for only green capsicums not the colored ones, which are very difficult outside
- Even for the green capsicum, go for the hybrid INDRA (Syngenta seeds), if you are growing during rainy season, take more care of diseases, if during winter you can expect a good crop with not much risk and if in summers, insects will be a serious issue

Capsicum can be grown in open land comfortably.
The land suitable to brinjal,tomato,okra,chilli etc. are also suitable to capsicum.
Timing & practices are similar to tomato.
It can be grown round the year in high altitudes with low temperature and dry weather except frost conditions.
It is cultivated as a winter crop in rest parts.
Avoid to cultivate it in the same fields where solanaceous crops grown again and again.One should change the family of the plants for better performance.
