Kiran,

Growing almond is very difficult. Apart from having the right kind of soil and weather conditions to grow an almond orchards, you need millions of honey bees for cross pollinating the flowers during the bloom period. Without bees you cannot pollinate the flowers.

Cultivation of almonds in north karnataka is difficult. IT can be cultivated in KAshmir . The climate is suitable.
