Growing a Mango tree

Hello,
Forgive my ignorance.
If I take a mango seed from the mango obtained from a grafted mango tree (short tree, abundant fruits) and then germinate it and grow it, will this new tree have the same qualities of the mother tree (short tree, abundant fruits)?

Hello Sir

No Sir the seed wont give u same type of fruit.

If u grow the seed u will get a mango different from the original and may be it not give high yield may be late bearer also.

This is because mango is mainly cross pollinated as 65% of the perfect flowers are never`pollinated.It is highly heterozygous.

Mango should be propagated vegetatively either by stone grafting, veneer grafting to get true to type mango varieties.

Which variety is grown in ur farm???
