Grass / weeds control

Can u suggest any chemicals / weedicides which can be used in selected area to make land free from grass / any type vegetation. The idea is to make the land free from any type of grass so that regular grass cutting / vegeation removal activity is avoided.

Dear bothrah,

The problem can be approached in different ways.

Option 1: If you have Cows, Goats in your land, they will do the job for you.

Option 2: Dont cut the grass, but rollover a drum or heavy object over the vegetation or grass and let these be left as is and this will prevent further growth.

Option 3: Cover the place with fallen coconut leaves or dried leaves and make sure the sunlight does not reach the soil and this will ensure that nothing ever grows.

One thing to keep in mind is, if you do not have anything on the ground, the ground will be scorched by the sunlight and the air will carry away the topsoil.

Weed Controllers

You can put Weed controllers at the time of sowing of seeds as this will control un wanted vegetation.
you have hire labour also once in 15-20 Days to remove un wanted vegagtion.
