I can suggest you, try eco turf for your resort. It will benefit you more in the development of the lawn. You can purchase artificial grass from any landscaping and garden supplies firm that will give an engrossing look to your resort as well as to your lawn.
Selection no 1 is hybrid Bermuda grass (Cynodon dactylon).
Other varieties in the same category are Calcuttia and Hariyali , Selection no 8
The grass genes is basically called a “Sod or Turf “
Selection no 1 is one of the most sun loving ,dark green , low growing , fast repairing , superior grass can be easily turfed . Hybrid Bermuda turf requires a moderate amount of lawn grass care , maintenance and mowing .
The blades are a grey green color and are short , It has a deep root system , the root system can penetrate 2 mts deep , but most of the root mass is 60 cms under the surface .
Preferred soil : Sandy-loam, well fertile, drained with good water holding capacity having pH of 5-6 and sufficient humus or organic matter.
Turf- grass with adequate nitrogen (N) has the fastest shoot growth .
Methods of lawn raising :
Seeding, Dibbling, Plastering, Sprinkling, Turfing
1 kg seed can cover 500 sq ft area
Approx market rate : Rs 1700-2000 / kg plus shipping charge .
NOTE : if you have a professional lawn gardener then raise your lawn through seed or else go for ready to lay selection no 1 grass turf roll measuring 2X2 ft size costs Rs 7-10 / sq ft .
