Import of Domestic animals
No livestock product can be imported into India without a valid sanitary import permit. All livestock with valid sanitary import permits can be brought into India only through seaports or airports where Animal Quarantine and Certification Services Stations are - in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai. When livestock arrive at the checkpoint, they will be checked by the Officer-in-charge of the Animal Quarantine and Certification Services Station or any other veterinary officer duly approved by the Department Of Animal Husbandry and Dairying .

Another process similar to this has also to be initiated at Indonasia for the export regulations before lifestock is shipped out.
