Training in goat farming by Best Foundation, Pondicherry.

For the last two years Best Foundation has been conducting regular training programmes on goat farming. It had gone to many villages in Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry and trained many farmers. It had also gone to cities like Bangalore ( on 27-03-2011) trained many people. Highly educated in non- agri field and socially and economically well placed people are coming forward to take up this training.
From November 2011 onwards on- farm- residential trainings on goat farming have been conducted in its Good Shepherd Farm near Pondicherry. Food and accommodation are given in the farm itself.
The Govt. of Tamil Nadu has recognized the training given by Best Foundation. Dept. of Agriculture sends the farmers for the training under ATMA scheme.
Some Banks have already given Bank loans for the goat farming based on the training certificate given by Best Foundation.
