Expertise plez let me know,How many goat breeds are there in India,and which is best among these breeds as per meat and production of kids,adaptability etc.

There are 23 registered goat breeds in India,among them osmanabadi goat breed is number one as per the quality of meat and reproductive character.Pureline osmanabadi goat breed gets easily adaptable in any climatic condition,has greater resistant power against diseases,eats any farm fodder,twining and triplets are common,the period of maturation is lowest as compare to other goat breeds of India.To know more about goat farming,visit my thread-Goat Farm Solutions
