I am from Chennai can any one give me details (Rate and how to recieve) about Glyricidia, Erthrina Indica (Mandara`, `Panjira`, `Dholdhak`, `Pangri`, `Pharad` or `Dadap`in Hindi. The Tamil people call it as `Kalyana Murungai`, `Maruka` or `Mulu Murungu`. In Bengali Lanuage, this tree is well known as `Palita Mundar` and `Rakta Madar`), Buffalo grass around one kg required.

Happy to see a like minded person like you . I have been trying to get seeds of Fodder trees, So far I am able to get seeds of AGATHI ( Sesibina Grandi flora ) I am trying to collect Low tanin verity of Subabul , A am able to collect a few from fallen trees in the recent rains. I think there should be more Seed banks for fodder trees. The Locals KVK are only selling seedlings , each costing Rs. 5 to 10 /- Each . for a marginal farmer I think these prices are high.

Please share any information about you quest, when your able to get the above mentioned trees ,
