Dear Sirs,
You need to make ponds the standard size of which is 1 ha. Depth should be 1.5 M. Plenty of water should be available, specially in summer. Once the pond is filled with water & tested for seepage then you have to culture python planktons in the water. During monsoon fish fry are available from fish nurseries. You can buy & stock them in the ponds. The young fry survive on the planktons after which you have to start supplementary feeding. Normally 6 varieties are cultured together which stay at different levels of water in the pond. Prawns are also cultured together with the fishes & given the same feed given to the fish. Prawns grow up fast & are ready for marketing within 5 to 6 months.
