Dear All,
I would like to start dairy farm with HF cows in Gujarat. Some querries related to Feed/Fodder management.
I am planning to have Hydroponics Maize Green fodder (height 1 ft) to feed to cow.
Can I give 25-35 kg of these Hydroponics Maize Green fodder + required qty of Feed Concentrate to feed to cow. I do not want to give Dry fodder at all. is it advisable??
Later on, I can plan to give silage in addition to green fodder.
Expert group, please advice on this matter.
Also, anybody can tell what is the latest and average price (Gujarat) of following:
- Green fodder per kg
-Dry fodder per kg
-concentrate per kg
- Milk price per ltr (standard normal fat of HF cow milk)
