I have a patch of agriculture land approx. 4 acres in Orissa.
Any suggestions for fast growing tree/plant which would give me good yield after 5 yrs in terms of qty+quality.
If you know any relevant organisation who deal in this

Melia dubia which is the fastest growing tree which will be ready by 6 yrs present cost after 6yr is 4500/ tree.

The melia dubia (malai vempu/konda yappa) and gmelina arborea (kumil are the fast growing spices among timber varieties in the universe.The minimum cultivation period is 6 years onwards.The spacing dimension is as follows like 10'x10,9'x8' & 8'x8' .One farmer grow the melia dubia in Bhavani sagar,Tamilnadu .The age of the tree is 9 yrs .So many person trying to purchsae that tree & fixed the price Rs 15000/- .But the farmer is denying to sell and he wants to keep the for some more years.we are having the good quality melia Dubia & Gmelina arborea seedlings are availiable for planting.

Depends on the purpose for which you are growing the tree spacing can be decided. Melia Dubia as Energy Plantations can yield around 50 T/Acre from the third of cultivation by good agricultural practices. 100 Acres can also sustain a 1 MW plant for which tie-up arrangement with corporates is possible.
