Farming in Karjat

Hi,

I need to understand what is the kind of crops, etc that can be grown in Karjat.

Also, I am looking for further space here for cultivation. Any options?

Hi

Karjat is known for Rice Varieties being developed here. You can also go for nursery wholesale plantation business because of it's nearness to Mumbai, readily available market will be there for landscape gardening ornamental plants.

You can cultivate seasonal vegetables, fruit plantation and other commercial crops like Banana,papaya, pineapple. If u need any help you can mail i am in Panvel
