A shed of area 80000 square feet is required to raise 100 cows. For biogas another extra 2000- 10000 square feet is required.

Biogas plant in general needs 2 parts water for 1 part manure.
With 100 cattle you would get about 1000 kg. manure daily.
From 1000 kg manure 50 cubic meter gas can be generated.
The said quantity of Biogas will cater about 24 families
Or one can also generate electricity from the said quantity about 100 kWh Units.
