Export of Mushroom from North India

Hi all,
Hope you all are doing good.

i am a student of Entrepreneurship Management and wish to get into the Export of Oyster mushrooms just after the completion of my course(approx month of completion:september 2010).If any one can kindly suggest me that how shall i plan for it.I also wish to know the formalities to be done for the export.

Dear sir,

Before going to export get aquent with crop understand the crop first then grow and distribute to local market then u will come accros the problems then u find the solution. to export oyster mushroom u cant do it fresh only u can dry and make powder then export so get the details first. to export u will have to obtain Phytosanitary certificate.

It will be really great if you can give me few more details of processing and exporting.For example licencing, logistics etc.

Dear Sir,

First of all, you have to decide the business under Proprietorship/Partnership or Private Limited Company based on that the firm should get the Licence.
Then to open bank account, Import Code number to be obtained from DGFT and Sales Tax Registration, to became a membership with EPC etc.
