Born in Kolkata in 1954, Sri Dinesh Rawat did his degree in Commerce from Bhwanipore Education Society followed by an LLB from Hazra Law College under University of Kolkata.
Even without formal education in Botany, Sri Rawat made in-depth study on plants. For practical exposure in this field, he underwent series of training in Thailand, Australia, USA, Sri Lanka & Myanmar organized by leading institutions, growers, landscapers & botanist of the world. He attended multiple of conference, seminar & lecture on horticulture organized at Singapore, Thailand & Florida. He attended Green House Mgt. course in Pune. He visited almost all the leading Nursery & Botanic of the world.
Being self-schooled & self-secured in raring plants, Sri Rawat is fondly known as “Green Miracle Man”. He is dedicated to “Go Green” & live in “Harmony with Nature”.
Green Mall is his brainchild amazedly developed over 12 acres of land & turned into a virtual green paradise.
He has produced two audio albums with his lyrics “Prakriti Ki Pukar” & “PrakritiVandana”
He signed an MOU with Indian Botanical Gardens, Howrah in 2006 by which he would rejuvenate palm collection in this largest & oldest Botanical Garden of the country.
