View attachment 2867Sri Dinesh Rawat is fondly known as Green Miracle man. Dedicated his life to the cause of helping and inspiring people to “Go Green” and live in a green surrounding.
He lives in his plant nursery with millions of plants. He spends his time in raring 2500 types of plants and studies their characteristics.
He has not gone for any formal education to obtain degree. He has taken practical training in Thailand, Australia, USA, Sri Lanka and Myanmar from world’s leading growers, landscapists, botanists and scientists. Base on his practical education and experience of living with plants, he has authored three books in this field. “Palms for India” in 2008 and “Green Your Surroundings” in 2010.
He has attended several conferences in horticultural world including “Tropical Flowering Trees Society Conference in Florida, International Landscapers Conference in Singapore and “International Palm Conference” at Thailand. He has also done Green House Management course from Horticulture Training Institute, Pune.
He has visited several leading Botanical Gardens and very big Nurseries in the world.
Based on his knowledge about characteristics of plants and his training and practical experience, he has created hundreds of sensuous and theme oriented landscapes in various parts of India.
Green Mall campus is a place to see his vision and insight of practical landscaping. This 12 acre campus has been landscaped with 2500 varieties of plants and visitors are stunned to behold this green paradise.
Academically he had graduated in Commerce from Bhawanipore Education Society, Kolkata and LLb from Hazra Law College, Kolkata.
He has produced two audio albums with his lyrics “Prakriti Ki Pukar” & “PrakritiVandana”
In 2006, he signed a MOU with Indian Botanical Gardens, Howrah by which he would rejuvenate palm collection of the largest and oldest Botanical Garden of India.
