Eucalyptus plantation

Hi,

I am planning to go for eucalyptus plantation of trial run in 1.5Ac of dry land. If this works out, I will be extending the same for remaining land. I am new to agriculture. Hence I need details on Cost of cultivation, returns and ongoing market price for eucalyptus. Also I need details on consultants available in my area to help me and marketing procedure.

Land is located in Visakhapatnam Dist.
Its rain fed dry land. Previous crop was casuarina.
Climate type: hot and humid

Also suggest me if working with ITC for this purpose is a good idea.

If any alternative to eucalyptus exists for this land, please suggest me.

We do cloning of Eucalyptus through rooting of juvenile cuttings from coppice shoots under controlled environment in Green Houses, shade houses and high-tech root trainer nurseries and maintaining the separate identity of each clone at all stages.

Eucalptus clones can be extended to other fields if f scope is there. we will supply project report for availing term loan from banks.
