Dry land farming/Dairy/organic farming

Dear madam/sir,
We own 70 acres of land in surendranagar. We are totally dependent on rain water. Annual rainfall is uneven. Is is possible to use / store the run away water? Can we go for the organic farming practices. Also furnish some contacts / details about people in dairy farms. ( cows mainly).

Water usuage

Hi,
In the olden days it was only rainwater that was used for farming. You can store water by implementing rainwater harvesting where you catch every drop of water which increases the soil moisture. Organic farming can also be set up by you on experimental basis since it takes time to be certified as organic as you need to prepare land for organic farming why dont you try for 10 acres of land for organic farming.
