Drumstick with Pumpkin

Dear Sir


I'm planning to plant Drumstick in the Dry land of 1.5 Acre in Chittoor District of Andhra Pradesh ( Red & White soi mixl). There is no bore well water but planning to use the water tanker instead.

Please suggest the distance between the plants.

From the forum I understood PKM-1 variety will be good in terms of yield and life.

Could you please share your thoughts and suggest if there is any better seed for the soil ? Can we cultivate Pumpkin along with Drumstick [plants?

Hello sir,
PKM-1 is good you can also use Dhanraj which is also developed by same institute, try to manage water initial one year later plants will manage the water requirement. yes you can cultivate pumkin, water melon , Indian beans, cluset bean tomato any crops but ensure irrigation.spacing 2X2 or 2.5X2.5 is good.
