Diary Farming

I intend to start a Diary farm at Nellore ,Andhra Pradesh. Initially with around 8 - 10 buffalos. I have one acre land with water. Can someone guide me on the buffalos, or someone interested in selling good buffalos, making of buffalo shed, milking machines and their price also..

dairy farming

hi vinod,
its great to start a dairy farm. really a profitable one, with a little bit hard work to do with. presently i had 6 milking buffalos. i am also planning to expand the dairy with about 20-30 buffalos. my advice to you is better u start with 3-4 buffalos as at present the grass is eradicating due to less rain fall. the general thing is 1 acre of land for 5 buffalos only for the green grass. apart from that the shed for them requires some more place. better u start with 3-4 buffalos.
and regarding the breed the murrah is the best. it gives u around 10-12 ltrs of milk per day, depends upon the feed you give to them. these breeds cost will be around 35 - 40,000/- per a buffalo. if u wish to know more contact your nearest verternity doctor or u can feel free to contact me when ever you want. i am also from andhra, east godavari dist.

I intend to start a Diary farm at Uttarakhand Pradesh nearer Haridwar / Rishikesh / Dehradun. Initially with around 3000 Cows. I need 50 Acare Land may possible land with water. Can someone guide me on the Purchasing or Donate for the Nobel Cause of GAUMATA SERVING, or someone interested in selling good Land,either most welcome to coodinate with the TRUST / NGO. making of Nobel Cause of GAUMATA SERVING, milking and service the Nation also...............
