Degraded land an hour from North Bangalore

Can I get 10 to 40 acres of degraded land in a 60 km radius from Yelahanka, Bangalore ? Uradgere - Gauribidanur - Bagepalli - Vemgal seems to be the arc from North West to North East of Yelahanka.
The purpose is to nurse it back into a viable agricultural land.
