dates farming

Hi this is T A KHAN i have a piece of land in telangana which is about 4 acres.i want to start dates cultivation on it but i have no prior knowledge of it other than what i have read in magazine about it.
would it be advisable to enter in farming?
how much will be the cost of starting production?
if any government or non government agency will help me financially for the project?
where to get tissue culture buds and what is the price/unit?

Hi

DAte can me cultivated in varied warm climates but for commercial cultivation you would require very high tempratures combined with low humidity. For the cost of cultivation please visit the acharaya rangaro agriculture university at hyderabad.
