I am seeking for advise to start dairy firm, as i lack knowledge about it. I am put up in Bangalore and planning to start it up in Hassan.As per my knowledge i have come to know that H&F breeds are good for dairy.
*What is the procedure and the required essentials to start ?
*Where could i get these pure H&F breeds in Hassan ?
*What would be the cost of 10 cows ?
*How much land is required for starting up with this above mentioned plan ?

Hi Balaji ,

Starting dairy farm without basic knowledge is just like learning to drive car by reading books , kindly contact nearest KVK ( krishi Vigyan kendra) as they conduct 4-5 days training course on dairy farming.

Dairy farming is very simple only if could realise the basic needs of cows and make all provisions on farm to give them the required comfortable shed, water & feed.
