WE have around ten acres in Thiruvallur district. Planning to start dairy there. we have enough water sources.

please can i get answers to my questions.

1. Is Thiruvallur suitable for dairy farming?
2. What is the type of cows better suited for this place?
3. Should we go for green fodder farming also? How many acres must be
allocated for this?
4. Suggest me where can i get the milking machine?
5. Advice regarding the shed is needed.
6. Minimum / maximum number of cows in this dairy of ten acres.
7. Do i need a chilling plant for the milk? Iam hardly forty kms from Chennai?
8. Is it a must to have cooling arrangement (fan with mist spray) during
summer?
9. Any other point of importance?
