Star Lick provide minerals for the individual need of your animal.The productivity of ruminant animals such as cattle, buffaloes and goats is severely constrained by poor mineral nutrition which restrict growth and reproductive rates, and contribute to a high economic loss in flocks and herds. Salt, minerals both are indispensable for good health and high productivity. The normal ration –compound feed and roughage – fulfills the general needs of the animals, whereas mineralised salt licks fulfill the individual need for salts and minerals. Animal licks these blocks as per its body demand.

The cost for 10 animals farm would be 3 lacs with a returns starting from 2nd year with 500 - 1000rs per animal per month

Please provide details of consultants/advisor available in Tamil Nadu to setup new buffalo/cow dairy form with 10 animals.How much the cost would be for initial investment,what kind of animals prefered for diary and where they available in india.

Iam from Andhra pradesh, Prakasham District. I have 10 acres of land which is not cultivated for so long time, i would like to use this for Dairy farm.
In this i have few questions like...
For 50 Cows or Buffalo’s
1. What type of permissions from govt I have to take and where can I get?
2. What is the variety which suits my climate?
3. What is the cost of the animal?
4. What type of infrastructure we need? And cost of the infrastructure approx?
5. What type of feed we should give, and what will be the cost?
6. Medication for the animals?
7. Ways of profit?
