Hi,

Am in planning to start a diary farm.
My questions are as follows
1. Am from chennai so what kind of Cow Breed Will support my climate ?
2. What is the difference in quantity of milk produced by HF, Cross breed HF & Jersey, Price of raw milk in marked today?
3. Am planning to starting this Dairy farm with 70 Cows, then
a. Area of land required
b. green grass cultivation area
c. Man power required for the maintanance including green grass cultivation
d. Milking technique for 70 cows like milking machines or pipe line system which could be cost effective
e. what are the Equipments required for completely maintanance
f. from the above all requirments can u please let me know what will be my project value
4. What is the procedure to apply for loan in commercial banks & Role of NABARD in Subsidy?
5. What are the documents need to be produced to bank?
6. What is percentage do the bank approve from the project value we submit? what kind of security document they accept ?
7. I want to visit a existing dairy farm for further practical knowledge can any one assist?
