Hi Bashker, please call me for more details.

If you want o keep 25 animals, you would require atleast 2.5 acres of land.
Talk to me for profit analysis and operational costs.

Thanks
Srini,

Hai,
Please tell me from which part of Chennai. I am from Pallavaram and own a farm by name Ayyan Organic and Integrated Farm.
1.The thumb rule for fodder lands is 10 cents per animal, i.e 2.5 acres for 25 animals but to be on the safer side you need at least 3.25 acres for fodder alone.
2. Animals need hay for their night feed. For 25 cows you need atleast 3 acres of hay for 3 months.
3. You need at least .5 acres or 50 cents of land for shed and quarters.
4. The land should be near the market point.
5. The land should have good water resource and good soil.
6. The land should also have good drainage system.
