I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW MUCH IS THE GOVERNMENT SUBSIDY TO SET UP DAIRY FARM IN A.P.

Please contact your mandal veterinary doctor. He is the correct person if you want to go for subsidy based cows & buffaloes
please note HF cow is Rs.37,500/- and Murrah buffalo is Rs.40,000/-. One person is eligible to get 5 animals (cows/buffalos) on subsidy (You need to pay 75% of total cost and remaining 25% will be paid by AP govt.). If you want to go for loan then, you need to contact nationalised banks. Vet. doctor can give correct advice for you on this.

I doubt whether the prices given is correct.A good HF will cost Rs.45000/- to Rs.55000/- Murrah from Haryana will cost just the double of what you have quoted. A good Hf which will yield 18-25 litres in the morning, first lactation is what i have mentioned. The rates quoted is for animals from which place?? How much will they yield in the morning?

Go to Erode (tuesday) cattle market. You will get good one for 30k

Cow Purchase

Nobody needs to elaborate on cattle market in TN. Right from Nagercoil,Tirunelveli, Madurai,Trichy, Kangeyam,Erode,Pollachi,Attur,Salem,Vellore, Tiruannamalai, Gobichettipalayam, I have personally seen these markets. In erode, milking cows may be available but why are you silent on yield? Maattu chanthai in better words those are the markets for culling or i make it very clear- butchers comes there. We are talking about milking cows. In the first lactation and not cows having delivered for the 4th or 5th time***
Am not interested from where you source these cows.You can try Kariamangalam near Dharmapuri on tuesdays early morning and see for yourself.I can visualise the health condition and milk yield of cows for 30k. !!!! cattle trading is not my profession,please understand that too.

Go to Erode (tuesday) cattle market. You will get good one for 30k
