I am also planning to start a dairy farm soon.I have done some ground work and met few dairy owners and some of them said it is profitable business.The main issue most of the dairy owners encounter is the cost of fodder for the cows/buffaloes and the price at which the milk is sold.As cow needs to be fed right mixture of nutrients the dairy owners buy the fodder outside rather than cultivating with modern approach.Most of the dairy farms gets closed because they are not able to maintain the cows and cows need continuous attention all times.
