I am From Coimbatore(Tamil Nadu) and working in IT field. we have Six hectare, farming Banana and Turmeric. I would like to start additionally Poultry Farming specially " Country chicken Farming". I want to know more about it... I think this is best place to get information.

How much investment required for Medium size Country Chicken farming ? and is there any scheme in Banks to avail loan ?

Nice idea of diversifying the agriculture by adding an animal husbandry enterprise.
The size of flock u have mentioned seems to be big at the initial stage.

130-140 INR per sqr feet for shed wit complete equipment
2000 sqr feet need for 3000 chicken
25-30 INR For chicks
chicken wait must be 900gms-1300gms for selling,it takes 90 days
There are lot of hatcheries available in Cbe circle
