Dear Sir,
To arrive at the cost for Installing and commissioning of Banana Ripening chamber you need to provide us the following details
1. Type of Banana to be ripened ( Preferably Grand Nine )
2. Daily output required ( input will be the same as output)
3.Are you planning to carter to the local requirement or you are planning to send the same to a market which is an overnight journey.
Banana Ripening is a Four day process
DAY - 1
Pull down from Ambient to 18 Deg C which is the required temp for Banana.
DAY - 2
Ethylene is Induces in the chamber
DAY - 3
CO2 is exhausted from the chamber . In case of market which is far and requires a overnight journey then the banana can be loaded to the vehicle and transported still the ripening process will continue,
The next day when it reaches the market it will be fully ripened
DAY - 4
The banana can be taken out of the ripening chamber as its fully ripened and can be sent to the local market
RH required is 90 to 94 % ( The same is maintained by providing a Humidifier in the chamber )
and the entire process is controlled by a PLC based controller . In case you need to monitor the data's then a data logger with a remote access can also be provided.
for ex . Day requirement of 20 ton ,we need to have four chambers with 20 ton's each as we can get 20 tons on a daiyl basis.
